Los Angeles: Actors Ron Livingston, Beverly D’Angelo and Omar Benson Miller have joined the cast of 'Don’t Open the Door'.
Livingston is known for his roles in films such as 'The Flash', 'The Conjuring ', and 'Office Space', among others. D’Angelo has starred in projects such as 'National Lampoon’s Vacation' and 'American History X'. Miller has featured in 'Sinners'.
The film is directed by Deon Taylor, known for 'Black and Blue', 'Fatale', and 'Traffik', and will feature the actors alongside Tyrese Gibson, according to entertainment news outlet Deadline.
Plot details remain under wraps, but the film is said to deal with “real-world trauma”.
Taylor said the film would scare audiences. “'Don’t Open the Door’ is going to scare audiences as they’ve never been scared before, and the performances of Ron, Beverly, and Omar, alongside Tyrese, are what’s going to make that happen,” he said in a statement.
“They each bring important layers very much needed in a story as twisted as this. Having this group anchor our movie and welcoming Shannon and Cam into the production has us more excited than ever,” he added.
The film is produced by Roxanne Avent Taylor and Deon Taylor under Hidden Empire Film Group, alongside Tommy Oliver and Gerren Crochet of Confluential Films.
